Cindric, P. (Faculty of Agriculture, Novi Sad (Yugoslavia)) | Korac, N. | Kovac, V.
Italian Riesling falls among the most widely spread grapevine cultivars in the Pannonian Plain. In 1991, three clones were released by the Yugoslav Federal Commission for Varietal Approval. The clones, which resulted from a 16-year breeding program conducted at the Institute of Viticulture, Pomiculture and Horticulture of the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad (Yugoslavia), are superior to the original cultivar in yield capacity and the quality of grapes and wine.
