Experiments took place on the mountain Golija, Yugoslavia, (1.600 m a.s.l.). Thomas phosphate increased potato yields during the first year in relation to NPK-manures (controls) for 12.84 for the other years yield was decreased from 20.46 up to 22.12. Hydrated lime increased yield in the first year for 18.03, while in the second year this increase was only for 6.88. In the third year it was lower than in control for 30. Mineral fertilizers with magnesium increased yield for 46.08 in relation to NPK-manure (control). Peat, glycine, lime and magnesium increased starch content. Dry matter content was increased with all variations compared with mineral manure. The highest content of mineral matter in tubers was with variation on animal manure and Thomas phosphate.
