Cucurbita pepo L. convar, pepo provar, giromontiina Alef,(zucchini) as well as Cucurbita pepo L. convar, patisonina provar, torticollis Alef (crook-neck and stright-neck) plants were examined for virus suspectibility. The inoculated plants uniformly proved systematically susceptible to the following viruses: cucumber leaf spot Carmovirus (CLSV), cucumber mosaic Cucomovirus (CMV), watermelon mosaic-1 Potyvirus (WMV), watermelon mosaic-2 Potyvirus (WMV-2) and zucchini yellow mosaic Potyvirus (ZYMV). Plants inoculated with Melandrium yellow fleck Bromovirus showed local symptoms (hypersensitive reaction). In the course of our experiments incompatible relation (immunity) was pointed out between the plants examined and the following viruses: beet necrotic yellow vein Furovirus (BNYVV), carnation ringspot Dianthovirus (CaRSV), cucumber fruit streak virus (CFSV), cucumber green mottle mosaic Tobamovirus (CGMMV) and tobaco ringspot Nepovirus (TRSV)
