Ryu Gi Song | Won Gyang Jin (Inst. for Fruit, Sukchon (Korea Democratic People's Republic))
The effective accumulated temperature needed by the developmental stages of apple tree red mite, refers to 104.4 deg C, in egg stage, 82.6 deg C in larva stage, 79.8 deg C in imago stage, therefore, 266.8 deg C in one generation, reproducing 8.3 generations per one year and also, cherry tree 154 deg C in egg stage, 107.2 deg C in larva stage, 130.5 deg C in imago stage, so, needing 391.7 deg C in one generation, reproducing 5, 6, generations. When spraying machine oil 5% + DNOC 0.3% in dormant period of fruit tree, the damage from red mite can be prevented
