The observations were conducted in 1992-93. In the year of 1992 the average number of injury of cultivar and line of horse bean ranged between 8.0-19.1 and in the year of 1993 this scale was much larger 8.80-36.05 depending on the tested variety. The snout beetle is always a problem in the zone of horse bean cultivation, but its intensity is different. Two years observations did not show the repeated differences between the intensity of crop plants injury by snout beetle
