The study of the use of sugar beet washing earth for soil fertilization and improving its biological activity using pots was carried out in 1989-91. The pots were filled out with two types of soil: silty brown soil (A1 horizon) and loose sandy podzolic soil (C horizon). The pot soils were once enriched with sugar beet washing earth (10, 25 and 50 percent of the soil) and yard-manure. It has been stated a very profitable influence of sugar beet washing earth on the content of organic matter in soils, as well as biological activity and yields of plants
