The tested organisms were the fungi Alternaria alternata, Ascochyta fabae, Botrytis fabae and Fusarium culmorum. From the tested extracts only a few of them inhibited the extension of the spore's germination or caused the deformation of the hyphe sprout. These were mainly the extracts of rhizone of snake knotgrass (Polygonum bistorta L.) and bulb of common garlic (Allium sativum L.). A more selective activity was typical for macerate made from red bilberry (Vaccinium vitisidaea L.), black nightshade (Solanum nigrum L.), winter cherry (Physalis alkekengi L.), common hop (Humulus lupulus L.), condituft (Iberis sempervirens L.), cow parsnip Sosnowski's (Heracleum Sosnowskyi Manden.), wild strawberry (Fragaria vesca L.) and larkspur (Delphinium consolida L.)
