Fertilization increased from 100 to 160 kg N/ha brought about increment in the number of siliques on a plant and from a unit of area as well as in the weight of seeds from a plant of rape grown in stand after spring barley or after barley with supplementary crop of Italian ryegrass; now, no such dependence was found in the stand after barley with supplementary crop of serradella. In relation to yielding of rape in the stand after spring barley without straw ploughed over, the relative yield of seeds after barley with straw ploughed over was 102 percent, after barley with supplementary crop of serradella with straw ploughed over - 98 percent, after barley with supplementary crop of Italian ryegrass with straw ploughed over - 85 percent
