Effect of growing zinc doses on growth of pea (Pisum arvense L.)

The results obtained proved a distinguished effect of zinc on the growth of plants, number of root nodules and on the Zn accumulation in their tissues. The zinc content in shoot and roots depended directly on the Zn dose brought into soil. It led to a reduction of root nodules. It led to a growth of soluble Zn in soil, the soil acidity decrease and a reduction of the activity of cellulolytic microorganisms
