Factors affecting working conditions in agricultural development of agriculture teachers in the secondary schools for developing areas (L.S.S. II) in the Northeastern region [Thailand]

Most of agriculture teachers were male and married. The average age was 31.93 years, average working period was 9.12 years, and average working period in this school was 7.32 years. Their education level was bachelor degree of agriculture. Their schools were located in their hometowns and their supplementary occupations were agriculture. More than half of them didn't have agriculture teacher colleagues. They got agricultural khowledge at moderate level from newspaper and poor level from other official workers. The main problem of them was that they didn't have enough time to devote to agricultural development and they recommended to increase agriculture teachers in each schools. The main problem according to their schools was inadequacy of equipment, budget and they recommended that their schools should increase the budget for providing agricultural equipment. They also viewed that people in local areas were not enthusiastic due to their poor level of education, so the government should promote for higher education level by expansion of educational opportunity.
