Assessment of the student's listening to the radio farm school program from radio farm broadcasting station (PRD. 8)

1. Majority of the listeners were male with average age of 34.56 years. With regard to educational background, the majority of the listener had completed secondary school. About two-thirds of the listeners were engaged in agriculture. Average annual income of the sample was 37,109.04 Baht. Listeners reported that the media through which they had gained most information was the radio. 2. The average listening frequency was 5.1 time/week, with most listening being at home. The majority of the listeners listened to every subject, with the fertilizer being the subject most listened to. 3. In assessing listeners' evaluation of the program content, the program had been useful and contents were very appropriate. However, the listeners' understanding of the program was only at a medium-level. Majority of listeners felt that the manner of speaking and voice of presenters were very appropriate. 4. As regard the problems mentioned by listeners, more than half of listeners found some problems in listening. 5. Regarding the degree of satisfaction of listeners to the program content and the program time the level of satisfaction did not vary with difference in the age, occupation and income of listeners. There was however, significant difference in satisfaction of the part of listeners with different educational level.
