The yield and chloroplast pigment content were studied in F1 generation seedlings obtained by crossing Seyve-Villard 18315 x Black Muscat grapes. The greatest variability was found in grape yield per vine-stock, and the least in carotenoid content. The correlation coefficients obtained shown that there is no significant correlation between yield and chloroplast pigment content. Different values of the observed characteristics in individual genotypes offer the possibility for selection and use of those genotypes in further breeding work.
