In the period 1991-1994, production of seeds of spring brewing barley variety Kraguj was analysed on the estate of The Foreign Seeds Center in Kragujevac (Serbia, Yugoslavia). The average yield, for the analysed period, was 4.5 t/ha. Quality of grain and malt of spring brewing barley variety Kraguj was also analysed in the tests of The Foreign Seeds Center, in Kragujevac (Serbia, Yugoslavia). Total protein content in grain varied from 9.60 (1978) to 15.40 (1994). Extract content in malt dry matter varied from 76.30 (1994) to 83.10 (1983).
