Cooling of milk in the case of milk transportation from farm every other day

In case of milk transportation from farm every other day it is necessary to cool milk to the temperature of 4 deg C. In case of milk transportation every other day in large-scale dairy farms the Reservoir Coolers CFST 2110 and MKA 2000L-2A and in small homestead dairy farms the Reservoir Coolers JP 600 and JP 400 are considered to be the best among milk cooling equipments. The milk temperature is in the Reservoir Cooler CFST 2110, in case of cooling udder warm milk, at the end of milkings 3.3...4.4 deg C and before the milkings 2.2...3.1 deg C, wheareas the milk cools down to temperature of 4 deg C within 0,1 hours. The estimate of milk cooling efficiency, according to 100-mark system, is 97 marks. The total bacterial count of milk at the end of the fourth milking is 1.2 times greater than at the end of the first milking
