Efficacy test of ferimzone 30 WP (TF.164) to control blast on upland rice

The experiment was conducted at Sitiung Experimental Station, West Sumatera in wet season 1988/1989, using Randomized Complete Block Design with four replications. The treatments were four doses of Ferimzone 30 WP (0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0) and 2.0 g/l of water of Carbendazim. Both fungicides were applied 10 times, 500 liters of water per ha, started 3 weeks after planting with one week interval application. The result showed that 2.0 g/l Ferimzone was the best treatment to control leaf and neck blast and also gave the highest yield, followed by 2.0 g/l Carbendazim, 1.5 g/l, 1.0 g/l Ferimzone 30 WP
