[Carbohydrate content and its relation with vegetative growth and flowering in avocado]

The aim of the present report was to know the carbohydrate content through the year and its relation with vegetative growth and flowering in avocado cultivar Hass. The results showed that the lowest carbohydrate content was during flowering period in shoot and roots. Flowering was antagonic with vegetative growth.
