A comparative study on lambing performance between baruwal and polworth X baruwal ewes in the migratory flocks of Ghandruk area

A trial was conducted in Ghandruk area of Kaski District on lambing performance in Baruwal and Polwarth cross ewes in 1986. A total of 615 ewes above 3 years old in Baruwal and 65 ewes in Polwarth X baruwal cross above 3 years old were recorded from different flocks. 94 percent lambing was found in Baruwal ewes and 91 percent lambing was found in Polwarth cross ewes.
