Heritability and other genetic parameters in six wheat crosses were studied for three quantitative traits, i.e., number of grains per spike, 100-seed weight and grain yield per plant. All the characters displayed significant genetic variability and crosses indicated a quantitative pattern of inheritance and were consistently moderately heritable. Transgressive segregation was detected in the number of grains per spike and weight of 100- seeds per plant. Generally low to moderate heritability percentage, coefficient of variability, expected genetic advance and genotypic variance were observed in all the crosses. Conclusively, the crosses Sonalika x Sindh-83 and Pak-81 x Sindh-83 proved promising and interesting material for future breeding programme.
