Leaching of phosphorus, phosphate, sulphate and chloride anions from soil fertilized with animal slurry, manure and NPK
1995
Mazur, T. | Budzynska, K. (University of Agriculture and Technology, Olsztyn (Poland). Dept. of Nature Principles and Effects of Fertilization)
The studies were conducted on phosphorus, sulphates and chlorides leaching from the soil fertilized with various manures. They showed that fertilization with animal slurry, farmyard manure and NPK increased their concentration in seepage waters. Total phosphorus content increased 1.5-9.2 times, with the phosphate content range from 42 to 72%. The leaching of sulphates increased by 36-42% and that of chlorides from 9 to 91% as compared to the unfertilized soil
