Effect of lupine seed extract on decrease of nitrate nitrogen content in selected vegetables

Studies on ability of using lupine seed extract as a factor affecting reduction of nitrate contents in carrot and cucumber were presented. Field experiments on the soils of different quality classes showed significant effect of lupine seed extract on nitrate absorption and accumulation in vegetables. As a result the decrease of nitrate content by 24% in carrot roots and by 76% in cucumbers was observed
