The effect of ammonium nitrate fertilization in doses of 40 and 240 kg N/ha and 50 and 300 kg K20/ha as well as the herbicide fallow and the sod on the contents of nonexchangeable NH4-N in horizons: A 0-25 cm, Eet 30-50 cm, and Bt 70-100 cm was determined. The A and Eet horizons contained 5 and 4% of particles lower than 0.002 mm respectively, and the horizon Bt - 18%. The content of nonexchangeable NH4-H in the soil profile depended on particles size. Lower amounts were found in the horizons A and Eet, but in the levels Bt these amounts were 2-2.5 higher. The effect of nitrogen was different and depended on the way of soil management and depth in the profile. The 300 kg K20/ha dose decreased the contents of nonexchangeable NH4-N in the soil under the herbicide fallow and the sod independent of the depth
