As a result of studying anatomic texture of microclonal strawberry plants variety Zenit reproduced on artificial nutrient medium in aseptic conditions using the method of apical shoot meristems, and of investigating the trend in organogenetic processes resulting in development of strawberry plants from isolated apical meristems it was found, that, as in case of multiplication of green shoots, formation of the upper part in strawberry apical pedunculus is based on mitotic activity of apical shoot meristem. In the process of microshoot rooting structural changes in spindle-like and medullar rays of cambium take place with primary parenchimatisation of secondary xylem in the zone of wide corded rays. The trend of organogenetic development of the roots with microclonal reproduction is the same as with green shoot multiplication
