Examination of permanent spores of kleistothecia Uncinula necator was carried out during 1981-1985. Germination of Oidium tuckeri spores was studied in 1989-1990. The permanent spores - kleistothecia - are always produced after powdery mildew infection of grapevine and all parts of the plant are infected by this pathogen. Classifying of kleistothecia according to development stage and colour was done. Germination of Oidium tuckeri spores was studied in Petri dishes on various cultivation media under control conditions.
