Feeding trials was conducted to study the feasible utilization of Sago Palm Pith (SPP). in layer rations for 6 periods (4 weeks per period) with ad libitum feeding. In the experiment, 120 birds with thirty fourth weeks of age layers divided into 8 treatments of 15 layers, each with 3 replications. Each treatment of the layers was randomly fed by one of the experimental diets as following. Treatment 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7:0, 20, 30, 35 and 40 % of SPP replaced some rate of corn with rice bran, Treatment 4, 6 and 8:30, 35 and 40 % of SPP replaced some rate of corn without rice bran. SPP are possible replacement in the ration up to 20-30 % by replacing corn with rice bran in the rations. SPP can replace up to 30-35 % in the ration by replacing corn but without rice bran. Following this recommendation has no effect on egg production rate, feed consume and feed cost (P0.05) but the yolk color was decreased (P0.05).
