Product and quality of dry matter of cultivars and autochthonous genotypes of cocksfoot, Dactylis glomerata L.

The work presents the results of 7 selected autochthonous genotypes originating from populations of cocksfoot collected from the natural habitats of Serbian flora (Yugoslavia), after many years of selection. The chosen genotypes were tested in relation to standard cultivars K-6 nad Krusevacka early. The shown results refer to dry matter production from three cuts in the first, and four cuts in the second year of utilization. The main parameters of quality, the raw proteins content and the content of raw fiber as well as the calculated quantity of raw proteins, have been determined for the second cut in the second year of production.
