Investigations comprise the observation of dynamics changes of the association Danthonietum calycinae during the period of vegetation in systems of grazing (paddock and continual pasture) and cutting utilization. Results of investigation showed that the chemical composition of the vegetable mass depended on the stage of development of plants. By earlier exploitation of grasslands, the vegetable mass was of higher quality, namely, it contained a larger content of raw proteins and ash, and a smaller quantity of cellulose. Chemical composition of the plant mass in the first cut was uniform in all systems of utilization, while a higher participation of leaves in the second and third cut in conditions of cutting exploitation influenced the increase of raw protein and partially mineral matters, too, in comparison with pasture utilization.
