Ovicidal and ovolarvicidal activity of clofentezine on genetic mixed and haploid progeny of Tetranychus urticae glasshouse population, which was 12 times treated during five years and relaxed two years, was investigated in laboratory experiments, using leaf spray method. Haploid progeny was more susceptible to clofentezine than genetic mixed one: average, 2.10-fold and 1.78-fold, for ovicidal and ovolarvicidal activity, respectively. Both types of progeny expressed resistance level greater than 3. Resistance level to ovicidal activity of clofentezine was greater in genetic mixed progeny (average 1.75-fold). Resistance levels to ovolarvicidal activity of clofentezine were approximatelly equal for both types of Tetranychus urticae progeny.
