Experiments were conducted to study the effect of three planting dates (Feb.15, March 1st, and 15 March, 1988) and four levels of phosphorous fertilizer (0,20,40, and 60 kg. P2O5/Donum) on pea cv.Little Marvel. It was found that early planting date gave on increase in dry weight of vegetative growth, number of days to 50 flowering, but decreased the number of nodes prior to the first flower appearance, phosphorous fertilizer at a rate of 40 kg. P2O5/Donum gave an increase in plant lengh, but decreased the number of days to 50 of flowering plants. Phosophorous fertilizer did not have any significant effect on number of nodes prior to first flower appearance
