Morphogenesis of gallbladder and collecting bile ducts have been investigated in the histological series of embryos (see table 1) of cattle, pigs and horses in the early ontogenic stages. It has been stated that the embryos of horses have not sprout of gallbladder and not even in the early stages of the ontogenesis. The collecting bile ductus are differentiated from the hepatocytes.
