The article deals with the discussion of cooperation in the agricultural research among the Nordic countries and the Baltic states. The history of cooperation and the existing possibilities for researchers and specialists are described. The fields of the research cooperation are mentioned (the development of rural regions, food quality, the health and well-being of animals).
