As vitamin A (VA) is of a great importance for the growth and fertility of quails, the aim of the research was to investigate its distribution within their reproductive tract depending on the egg development stage. Liver, kidney and reproductive tracts of 9 months old quails were investigated at different egg development stages. All the organs were examined for VA content. The procedure and methods of investigation are described. The resulting data are presented in two tables showing (1) A and E vitamins concentration in plasma, liver and kidneys of quails, (2) A and E vitamins concentration in their reproductive tracts and follicles. The investigation results are discussed.
