The result of the study revealed the following: all selections were noted to be strongly resistant to lodging at heading and even during two weeks after heading. This is evident by a numerical score of 1 with a qualitative scale of strong and described as all plants being erect obtained in all selections. The lowest number of days from sowing to heading was obtained by selections number 6 with a mean number of 91 days. Selection number 3 was the tallest among selections with a mean height of 3.66 cm. The shortest plant at maturity was obtained by selection number 1 and 5 with a mean height of 78.33 and 76.66 cm, respectively. The most number of productive tiller was produced by selection number 6 with a mean number of 17.13 tillers. Selection number 1 produced the lowest number of productive tillers with a mean of 15.20. However, the differences on the number of productive tillers did not vary significantly among selections. The highest yielder among selections was obtained by selection number 6 with a mean yield of 6.291 tons per hectare. However, differences on yield among selections were not significant
