Mulberry leaves dipped in various concentrations of Mg (0.05%, 0.10%, 0.15%, 0.20% and 0.25%) and 0.20% N solution were fed to silkworm larvae. The maximum food (54.22 g/10 larvae) was consumed and cumulative coefficient of utilization was also significantly higher (55.90%) in the larvae fed on 0.15 percent Mg + 0.20 percent N treated leaves. Body weight and body length were also higher in the same treatment ultimately resulting in increased silk yield.
