Annual recurrence of fusaria in the rhizosphere of ornamental crops grown in three different regions of Allahabad (Medical College, Chandra Shekhar Azad Park and Botany Department) was studied during 1993 (January-December). Variation in the number of Fusarium colonies was observed throughout the year. The study revealed that the atmospheric temperature, soil pH and the host species play an important role in the growth and development of fusaria. Atmospheric temperature ranging from 27-36 deg C, pH 7.0-7.8 and the host chrysanthemum favored most of the growth of fusaria
