Integrating sweetpotato with multipurpose tree species (MPTS)

Multipurpose tree species (MPTS) were used as hedgerows and sweetpotato as alley crop in an agroforestry system study. Results showed that the growth and yield of sweetpotato under different MPTS hedgerows significantly increased as compared with the growth and yield of the same without hedgerows.
