Effects of N fertilizers and number of cuts on fodder kale yields

The field experiments on fodder kale (Pulawska zielona cultivar) were carried out in 1987-89. The effects of N rates (150, 300 and 450 kg/ha) and the number of cuts (1 or 2) on the yields and quality of silage were determined. The increased N rased improved green and dry matter contents, protein contents and oats units. No significant influence of harvest time (the number of cuts) on fodder kale yields was observed
