[Experimental results regarding the possibility to reduce the intensity of the erosion process on agricultural slopes by using structural establishments]

This paper presents the experimental results obtained as a result of testing the ATS-23,1 synthetic soil conditioner. The experiments were carried out in laboratory, on soil patterns and in the field, within the area of Tancabesti (SAI). Field for agrophysics and soil pollution. The experiments indicated an amelioration of soil physical characteristics, as follows: -the apparent density (AD) determined on soil patterns decreased from 1.17 g/cm3 for the control area (V1) to 1.09 g/cm3 for the treatment with 0,3 percent concentration (V4); - The total porosity (TP) has an obvions tendency of increasing from the control (V1) to the treatment with 0,3 percent concentration (V4); -the structural instability of soil patterns is reduced from 1.36 for the control (V1) to 0.03 for the treatment with 0.3 percent (V4); the quantity of eroded soil, measured at the bottom of side with a 15 percent slope, is 11.2 t/ha for the control (V1) and 1.4 t/ha for the treatament with 0.1 percent concentration (V2). The experimental results obtained emphasize the importance of the synthetic soil conditioners for the amelioration of soil physical and hydrophysical characteristics on sides with agricultural use.
