Influence of fertilizing on the proteinic fractions of the winter wheat cultivar Livia
1997
Bojnanska, T. (Slovak Univ. of Agriculture, Nitra (Slovak Republic))
The six-year experiment investigated these fertilizing variants: K1, K2, non-fertilized control; A, full fertilizing, meaning the nutrition input was at the same level as nutrition consumption by overgroup biomass (yield 8 t per ha); B,C, fertilized according to soil nutrition dynamics; D, nutrition amount was determined by diagnostic methods. Parts of four proteinic fractions in percent (albumins and globulins, gliadins, glutenins and insoluble residues) were evaluated through analysis of variance. It was found that year of harvest influenced percentage of the proteinic fractions more significantly than did variants of fertilizing. The fertilizing influenced mostly the gluten content. The full level of fertilizing (variant A) was the least suitable for cultivar Livia, from the point of view of nutrition quality. This variant, in comparison with other variants, decreased the content of higher nutrition value proteinic fractions (glutenins, insoluble residues but mostly albumins and globulins)
