A contribution to the study of Cu and Zn content in intensively utilized soils
1998
Hanes, J. | Puskas, J. (Slovenska Polnohospodarska Univ., Nitra (Slovak Republic))
Under field conditions, content of Cu and Zn and parameters of chemical properties were investigated in selected, intensively utilized soils (orthic luvisol, fluvi-calcaric phaeozem). Results suggest a relationship between the content of Cu and Zn and some chemical properties. The soil reaction was influenced most significantly by human activities. A decrease by 0.5 units in pH value during the fourth experimental year caused an average increase in the content of Cu and Zn by 2-5 mg kg** (-1) soil. There were also differences between the two groups of soils. A content of the examined elements was about 3 mg kg** (-1) higher in fluvi-calceric phaeozem than in orthic luvisol
