Marketing in its substance, includes all activities from the origin of the idea to the production of a product to its consumption by the final consumer. Modeling of this vertical line is determined by the links in the marketing chain which, in agricultural and food production, consists of the primary producer - final producer - market - consumer. Each of these links has its own specifications which are expressed by a numerical basis useful for managerial decision-making. The article deals with the method of definition and structuring the numerical basis for agricultural and food commodities
