FYTOPACK is a system of programs which facilitates the processing of phytosociological releves into phytosociological tables. The system consists of six programs: CHECK, FUSE, SYNON, FYT, SYNOP, and FULLNAME. The main functions of these programs are: 1 - to check input data (releves, tables); 2 - to fuse releves or tables into more complex tables; 3 - to standardise taxonomic nomenclatures; 4 - to rearrange taxa and releves in tables and to establish constancy for individual taxa and the sums of taxa in releves; and 5 - to create synoptic tables
