Determination of sperm motion by Cellsoft automated semen analyzer

A commercially available computer-automated semen analysis instrument (CellSoft Automated Semen Analyser) was used for evaluation of motility and forward progression rating of bull semen. The aim of this study was to find time-dependent changes in these two parameters. The highest percentage motility was at the time of 0 (38.76 percent). At 60 min the percentage of motile sperm was 27.90 percent and at 120 min it was 27.18 percent. Forward progressive movement was also highest at the time of 0 (2.25). Lower values were found at 60 min and 120 min (1.86 and 1.65). No significant decrease was found in either parameter after 60 and 120 minutes in comparison with the time of 0
