[Establishing clover-grass mixtures on the heavy soils of the eastern Slovakian lowland]

The article compares three variants in establishing clover and grass mixtures in a heavy clay soil in an eastern lowland of the Slovak Republic: with tillage, with reduced tillage, and with no tillage. Over the three years of the trials, no statistically significant differences were found. In the first year, summer seeding produced more dry matter than spring seeding, while in the second and third years production was roughly equal. On average over the three years, zero tillage achieved 89% and reduced tillage 94% of conventional tillage yields
