Weerasri Hvungkarn
Vegetable soybean cv. KPS 292 and White Lion were grown in May, September and December, 1991/1992 at Vegetable Research Center, Kasetsart University, Kamphaengsaen Campus, Nakorn - Pathom. Both cultivars had the greatest height, number of main stem nodes, days to 50 % flowering, days to harvesting and number of pods per plant when grown in May. Plants grown in December produced the highest seed yield, quality and size. Seeds from December grown also contained high protein and low fat. KPS 292 was better in height, number of nodes, seed yield and quality but lower in protein and fat content than White Lion.
