The testing of the stability of parenteral forms of antibiotics for veterinary use

According to the guidelines of the ICH, the stability of gentamycin in parenteral preparations for veterinary use Gentavet injection a +- 40 mg and 80 mg which was stored in defined conditions of temperature and humidity (25 deg C +- 2 deg C/60 +- 5 relative humidity) during the period of three years, was examined. The following parameters are examined: content of gentamycin sulphate, chromatographic purity, colour, pH value, sterility, pirogenity and harmlessness. The examined parameters were within the limits during the storage. Gentavet a 40 mg and 80 mg in bottles of 50 ml is stable and the exiratory date was confirmed.
