Soil samples from layers 0-20 cm and 20-40 cm are analyzed and results obtained are averaged for the layer 0-40 cm. Total content of SiO2, Fe2O3, and Al2O3 is determined by KNaCO3 fusion and HCl treatment. Molecular ratios SiO2/R2O3, SiO2/Fe2O3, SiO2/Al2O3 and Al2O3/Fe2O3 are estimated. The results show that there is good correlation between K and molecular ratios (R20.7). For the chromic luvisols R2 of the relationships K -Al2O3/Fe2O3 and SiO2/Fe2O3 respectivly are highest. For the kastanozems R2=1 of all relationships. More studies are required especially for the kastanozems so the relationships to be verified. The studies are the first try in this country so the total content of R2O3 oxides to be linked to the soil erosion.
