Effect of nodule bacteria preparation upon pea yield, its quality and upon soil

Pea is the source of crude protein in the concentrated fodders. Effectiveness of pea cultivating depends on the symbiosis between plant and nodule bacteria. In this work perliit-based nodule bacteria (strains 245+250) preparation effectiveness upon pea "Carneval", grown on sod-podzolic soil at Olustvere Experimental Station, was explored. First year the preparation was added to the seeds drily, second year together with water (1 per cent of seeds weight). Received average results showed the increasing tendency of yield and role of soil nitrogen. Results were statistically not believable. Better symbiosis result gave moist inoculation of seeds
