[Genetic parameters of red bulls in the Nothern Kazakhstan]

creation of high productive animals depends to a large degree on correlation between farm useful characters to be selected and evaluation of servicing bulls by the quality of progeny. The basic farms of the Nothern Kazakhstan Oblast conduct work for creation of a new kind of dairy cattle on the basis of the theory of heteroecological heterosis. With this aim local red range cows were crossbred with Angeln, Red Dutch, Brown Latvian and Red Estonian bulls. Analysis of the results show that quality of animals in the breed herds became higher. Cows of filial generation during lactation surpass their mothers both in milk yield and in milk fat content.
