Newly hatched silkworm larvae were separated from the stock culture and divided into 40 groups representing five replications with 8 treatments. They were offered mulberry leaves treated with 0.05 honey 0.2% N, 0.1 honey + 0.2% N, 0.15 honey + 0.2% Ni, 0.2 honey + 0.2% N and 0.25% honey + 0.2% N till they were full fed. In order to observe the impact of different concentrations of honey the data were procured in respect of food consumption, coefficient of utilization, body length, body weight and cocoon weight with and without pupa. A comprehensive study of the statistical results so achieved revealed that the larvae preferred mulberry leaves treated with honey + 0.2% N as compared to simple mulberry leaves.
