The primary objective was to find out relationship between skiffing height, yield and yield components. The growth rate, number of shoots and plucking points and ultimately the fresh leaved yield per treatment showed significant and positive correlation among the treatments. A minimum difference existed in the mean values of control (with out skiffing) 70 cm from the ground surface (Table II). However altogether deep skiff (10 cm above from the last pruning level) proved the best height of skiffing to natural tea bushes for getting about three times more yield over control.
